William E. Pennie, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena, FL. He was born in Dorchester, MA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1967 from North Weymouth, MA. He was a Personnel Director for the S.E. Region of the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He was an Army veteran of WW II, a life member of the Elks Lodge #1224, St. Petersburg, and a member of the Cathedral Of St. Jude The Apostle. He is survived by his daughter, Kerry G. Kempeneer of Valrico, FL and two granddaughters, Megan Kempeneer of Kissimmee, FL and Kimberly Kempeneer of Winter Park, FL.
