Dorothy Jane Raguckas, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, May 30, 2002 in the emergency room at St. Petersburg General Hospital. She came here in 1943 from her native Avon Park, FL and was a 1944 Graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She moved to Tampa in 1955 and was a lunch room manager with the Hillsborough County School System, working at DeSoto Elementary and Clair-Mel Elementary and Franklin Jr. High Schools, she was a volunteer at Mary Help of Christians in Tampa. She returned to St. Petersburg in 1995 and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph C., Sr., one son, Joseph C., Jr. of Brandon, two daughters, Helen K. Bingham of Orlando and Theresa Anne Paltza of Cape Coral, two sisters, Mary Allen and Arlene McKee both of St. Petersburg and 7 Grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2002 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at Holy Cross Catholic Church 7851-54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg.
