March 28th, 1915 - October 7th, 2011
Betty Lee Rister, 96, of St. Petersburg, Florida and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully among family and friends at Palm Garden of Largo Friday, October 7, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Chet" Rister, sister Margie Fitzer and brother Jim Keates. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and friend and will be missed by all. She is survived by sons, David Rister (Janice) and John Rister (Helen), 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and sister Harriet Weller. A memorial service will be held at Palm Garden of Largo 10500 Starkey Road Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. Another memorial service will be held at Southwick-Good Funeral Chapel in Columbus, Ohio, Saturday, October 29, 2011, with at visitation 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Suncoast Hospice 5771 Roosevelt Boulevard Clearwater, FL 33760. $(document).ready(function(){ });
