Shirley A. Sweeney, 80, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at St. Anthony's Hospital. She came to Florida in 1987 from her native Buffalo, New York where she was a Director Of Corporate Communications at Buffalo General Hospital. She was a volunteer at All Children's Hospital, member of the Five Towns Red Hatters, enjoyed reading and traveling to see family. She was a member of Unity Church Of Clearwater where she served in the youth ministry. She is survived by five sons, Patrick J. Sweeney of Palm Harbor, Florida, William J. Sweeney, Jr. of St. Petersburg, Kevin M. Sweeney of Denver, CO., Michael F. Sweeney and Paul M. Sweeney both of Buffalo, NY; four daughters, Joan M. Boorman of Atlanta, GA, Nancy S. Fose and Karen S. White both of St. Petersburg, Maureen Sweeney of Pittsfield, MA; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. $(document).ready(function(){ });
