Kathleen R. "Kathy" Young, 67, of Largo, FL, formerly of St. Petersburg and Seminole, FL died Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park, of Ovarian Cancer. She came here in 1951 from her native Dunbar, PA. She was a Phlebotomist at Florida Blood Services, formerly Community Blood Bank. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and playing Scrabble. She was a Christian and a member of the 56th Street Bible Study Group in St. Petersburg. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gordon E. Young, Jr.; three daughters, Karen Miller of Largo, Linda Dotson of Douglasville, GA, Tina Lopez of Pleasant Gardens, NC; two sons, Ray Young of Brandon, FL, Gene Young of St. Petersburg; one brother, Larry Reilly of Live Oak; one sister, Sandy Hilton of Winston Salem, NC; eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
