Roehrig, Martha C., 91, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she graduated from Duke with a degree in Business Administration and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She joined the Red Cross during WWII and served in the South Pacific where she met W. Dana Roehrig, her husband of 54 years. The Roehrigs moved to St. Petersburg in 1968. Marty was active in the following organizations, All Children's Hospital, Symphony Guild, Fine Arts Museum, Ikebana International, St. Anthony's Hospital, Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni and the performing arts. She is survived by her three loving sons, The Honorable J.D. Roehrig of Capitan, NM, Mark H. Roehrig of St. Petersburg; J. Kurt Roehrig of Greensboro, NC, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 10am, Thursday, June 12th at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg.
