Campbell, D. Lewis 92, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Edward White Hospital. Born in Cartersville, GA, he moved to Florida at a young age and moved here in 1960. He was a United States Army Air Corp. veteran, flying B17's and B29's during WWII. He worked for Sinclair Refining Co. and City of St. Petersburg. He was a member of Northeast Christian Church the Lions Club, Elks, and the American Legion. He was a founding member of the St. Petersburg REBOS Club and a friend of Bill W. for 39 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Rosemary. He is survived by his son, Daniel Gail Campbell Jr., St. Petersburg, FL; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, Jan. 17th at Anderson-McQueen, 2201 Dr. MLK St. N.
