May 31st, 1922 - January 10th, 2009
Marks, Elma M. 86, of St. Petersburg passed away on January10th. Born in Aspinwall, Pennsylvania, she grew up on a farm and enjoyed working in her garden. She was the loving wife of Meritt Roy Marks for 64 years. The family moved to Pinellas Park in 1947 and built a home on 66th street, a two lane country road. Elma was active in her church and PTA. Together she and Meritt started the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane club that now has 3900 members worldwide. She was a wonderful mother and a blessing to those around her. She will be sorely missed by her children, George, Roy, Geanne, Paul, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 2:00 PM at Good Samaritan Church, 6085 Park Boulevard, Pinellas Park. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast or Good Samaritan Church where she was a member most of her life. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-Tyrone Chapel
