October 22nd, 1923 - February 2nd, 2009
Wolfe, Virginia L. died February 02, 2009, after a long battle with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. She was born in Croydon, PA on October 22, 1923 to the late Helen and Augustus Keck II. She moved to New Jersey when she was 5 years old during the Great Depression. Where her father opened a bakery and her mother could garden and raise the children out of the city. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 40 years Leroy Wolfe. Son Jack N. Blazer of West Virginia, daughter Margaret Ann Fleitz of Maryland, son Norman C. Blazer of New Jersey, four stepchildren Bernard Wolfe, Michael Wolfe, Charles Wolfe, and Kimberly Wolfe all of New Jersey. 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 children Charlotte and Barbara Blazer and her stepson Raymond Wolfe. 3 siblings Helen Keck, Margaret Chamberlain and Augustus Keck III and her first husband Norman R. Blazer. She enjoyed swimming, baking, traveling, walking on the beach and visiting with family and friends. She worked several jobs over her life. Worked on the family farm, clerk for the US Postal Service and was an owner operator of a family grocery store. She retired to St. Petersburg Florida more than 25 years ago. Interment will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be buried at the feet of her daughter Charlotte. At the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church Cemetery St. Jacobus Church Folsom New Jersey. No flowers please.
