Boynton, Janet H. 91, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Westminster Palms. Born in Bradford, PA, she came here in 1981 from Rochester, NY. She graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. She worked at St. Bonaventure University and retired from the University of Rochester. Upon retirement she volunteered at St. Anthony's Medical Library. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling the U.S. and foreign countries. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and nephew. She is survived by nieces, Jacqueline Gamble and Janet Corrin; nephew, Joseph Boynton; sister-in-law, Virginia Boynton and several grandnieces and nephews. Janet was Roman Catholic and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, 863-3rd Ave N., St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
