Joshua Dylan McGowan

Josh McGowan was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 6, 1982 and passed from this life to the next on January 31, 2015.His passions included fishing in the Colorado Mountains, his beloved dogs; Guinness, Gunnar, Dakota, Mookies, Max, Blizzard, Bear and Bandit, tending to his herb and pepper garden, morning workouts, Rocky Mountain National Park, snow skiing, white water rafting, trips to the zoo to feed the giraffes, cooking, concerts with his brother and BBQing with his family.Josh was a Procurement Manager at OEL Worldwide Industries. Josh was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John McGowan and Robert Irwin; grandmother, Irene McGowan; aunt, Valerie Siebert Garcia and aunt Sandy Haecker. He is survived by his dad, Kevin McGowan; mom, Tina Irwin McGowan; brother, Matthew McGowan; uncles, John, Dennis and Christopher McGowan; aunts, Debi Irwin Holsenback and Jamie Irwin Binzer; and cousins, Jon Christopher (Brittany) Binzer, Alicia (Trenton) Binzer Wilson, Mercedes Binzer and Brandy Haecker. Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Saturday, April 18, 2015, St. Luke's Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Drive, San Antonio, Texas.As parents, we were fortunate and blessed to know how much Josh was loved by so many friends and family. The stories and out pouring of love have meant so much to us but most of all, how much Josh loved his family, friends and colleagues.
