Theresa LaVonne Castro

Theresa LaVonne Castro, 77, of Riverview, Florida passed away on July 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 30, 1939 in Port Angeles, Washington to the late Ollie and Hilda Hiner McNeece. Theresa was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother, caring sister and friend. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with them. She had a kind and gentle nature and always welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and love. She especially treasured her 5 grandchildren and every moment she spent with them meant the world to her. Theresa lived in several different states during her husbands' service in the Coast Guard and enjoyed the world's natural beauty, including the mountains of Washington state and the wildlife of Alaska. The family settled in St. Petersburg, FL where they continued raising their 3 children. Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Ronoaldo Castro; children, Ronnie Castro, Lisa (Rick) Parsons, Kristie (Kip) Carevic; grandchildren, Anastasia Castro, Aidan Castro, Giancarlo Castro, Mitch and Carter Carevic; many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents Theresa is preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Wedding, Charlotte Vincent, and Allan McNeece.
