Simpson, Ollie Pate 58, of St. Petersburg, departed this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Born in Unadilla, GA, he came here at a young age. He graduated from Lakewood High School. He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Thelma Simpson; sister Christine Boykins. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Janear; daughters Tara and Tiffany; step-son Earl Johnson of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Ariyah, Nasir, and "Feebi" all of St. Petersburg. There will be a visitation from 11am until 1pm with a funeral service starting at 1pm on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Boca Ciega Nursing home or Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
