11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2006 St. Michael Parish Monica M. LeRoux-Haeger Monica “Gumma” died peacefully February 28, 2006 at her home in Lacey surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1935 in Plainfield, N.J. Her parents moved the family to Morris Plains, N.J. in 1945 where later she graduated from St. Virgil’s grammar school and Bayley Ellard High School. She became a resident of Washington State in 1969 with her husband Carl William Landgraf and six children. Monica’s passion for life, devotion to God and family, unique sense of humor, caring and giving nature as well as her life long affection for her Irish heritage is legendary and will long be remembered. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Russell and Margaret LeRoux and her loving husband of 20 years, James Neil Haeger. She is survived by her adoring children William and Denise Landgraf of Canada, sons Richard and Mark Landgraf, Mathew and Grace Landgraf, Megan and Reid McNair, and Moira Saner; also children David, Jeff, Kelly and Penny Haeger. Gumma is also survived by 16 precious grandchildren. As well, Monnie will be very much missed by her two loving sisters, Sue Ann Cattano and Nancy LeRoux, both of Morris Plains, N.J., 9 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews and of course countless friends from all over the country.
