James Jim Clement Jim was born on January 30, 1928 in Wenatchee WA and passed away May 24, 2015 in Tacoma WA. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marian; his daughter Terri (Richard) Juneman; and three sons - Steven (Roxie), Michael (Carol) and David (Kylie) Clement. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren (with 2 more great grandchildren on the way); his sister Jeannine (Jim) Fencl, and numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Jim enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 where he was trained and then served as an Electronics Technicians Mate. After his stint in the Navy Jim graduated college with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He subsequently obtained his Professional Engineering License and went to work for the Boeing Airplane Company. Living for many years in Burien Washington, Jim and his family spent many a happy summer day boating and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest. Jim was a most enthusiastic cheerleader and enjoyed cheering on his 4 children as they participated in various sporting events. He was adept at fixing electrical devices and automobiles, and was always ready and willing to use his electronics and mechanical skills to help out family, friends and neighbors. After retiring from Boeing in 1984, Jim and Marian became snowbirds. For a few years they traveled the U.S. during the winter and came home to Washington during the summer months. They finally sold their home in WA and adopted Yuma AZ as their winter paradise, where they spent many happy winters at Araby Acres, and more recently bought a home in Coyote Ranch. During the summer months Jim and Marian hit the road in their RV and spent time visiting their children in WA and OR, and volunteering as campground hosts at Banks Lake and Lewis & Clark campgrounds. Jim was an avid fisherman most of his life, though in his later years he was more interested in being a fisher of men. He loved to sing, and was passionate about praising God as a member of a church choir or worship team. Jim and Marian used their musical gifting as a ministry to enrich the lives of countless people in nursing homes and retirement homes throughout the country. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, June 13th 2015 at Mountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship 19001 SE 272nd St. Covington WA 98042 Memorial donations may be made to the Paul Carlson Partnership. http://www.paulcarlson.org/donate-now/
