Judith Donovan MacWilliams
October 24th, 1941 - May 22nd, 2013
Judith Donovan MacWilliams passed away suddenly at home May 22, 2013. She was the proud broker/owner of Professional Realty of Southwest Florida, was a member of the Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port Association of Realtors where she served as Secretary, Treasurer, President-Elect and President on their Board of Directors. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club. Judy was born October 24, 1941 in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in Rocky Hill. She studied at Julliard School of Music, played in the Symphony in Washington, DC, taught music and enjoyed many wonderful recitals with her students. She married the love of her life, William "Billy" MacWilliams in 1974 in Maryland and they moved to Port Charlotte in 1975. Judy is survived by brothers, Stephen (Elaine) Donovan and Tommy (Terry) Antenen; sister, Sue Ellen (Rick) Evans; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Donovan and Debbie Antenen; nieces, Kim, Kelly, Angela, Theresa, Regina, and Caroline; nephews, Mark, Jake, Michael, Matthew, Eric, Brett, Tyler, and Trevor; many great-nieces and great- nephews; scores of friends; her godchildren; and her beloved dog, Tinker. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents, Dorothea Donovan and James and Eleanor Donovan; as well as her brothers, Jamie Donovan and Steven Antenen. Friends will be received from 6-8:00PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW Count Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Avenue in Port Charlotte with burial to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL. The family would like to thank the many special friends and neighbors who have helped Judy, and ConfiCare nurse, Nancy Day, for all of her loving care. Arrangements by Paul Schelm Funeral Home in Lake Suzy.
