Eva Ponce (Carrasco) was born to Louis & Dolores Carrasco on April 4th, 1924 in San Antonio, TX. On August 15th, 2012, after a lifetime dedicated to her family, Eva, 88, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and love of crafts. Her beloved roses will continue to grow at her home in North Tacoma, where she resided until she went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Her memory will live on through her children: Sylvia & Gary Gibbs, Yolanda Ponce, Eva & Kurt Koehler, Felix Ponce, Dolores & Randy Davis, Vincent & Fredericka Ponce and Louis Ponce. Grandchildren: Cristopher Kaufman, Steven Kaufman, Kasey Davis, Shantel Davis, Nathan Weibel, Devon Harris, Kristin Theobald, Jordan Ponce, Kayla Sauro and Kendra Sewell. And great grandchildren: Evan Kaufman, Riley Kaufman, Brooklyn Kaufman, Noah Kaufman, Daniel Haechrel, Jeffrey Weibel, Faith Theobald, Sophia Sewell, Jack Sewell and Peyton Harris. She will be also be missed and remembered by her brother Louis Carrasco of San Antonio, TX and Family, as well as her dear friends, such as Mary Kay Taylor and her beloved pets. She loved them all! A celebration of her life which was full of faith, love and family will be held at the Gibbs residence in Fircrest, WA on Saturday August 25th, 2012 at 4 p.m.
