Bobbie B Mize, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born to the late Robert and Ruby Brown on March 17, 1930 in Charleston, South Carolina. Coming to Punta Gorda in 1996 she was a member of Fort Ogden United Methodist Church in Fort Ogden, were she played the organ and piano; The United Methodist Ladies of the Church, aka the sleeping bag ladies, and Past member of "Daughters of the Nile Egyptian Temple 33" of Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She is the widow of Harvey Jim Mize. She is survived by her sons, Coy Lee Williford, Jr. and his wife Claudia of Amelia Court House, VA and Robert Michael Williford and his wife Karen of Richmond, VA; Brother, Robert Rodney Brown and his wife Judy of Alma, GA; four grandchildren, Rachel (Dave) Stephens of Punta Gorda, FL, Wendy (Mark) Andrews of Suffolk, VA, Kristy (Bruce) Redman of Richmond, VA and Michael (Kristy) Williford of Powhatan, VA; five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends, and neighbors, Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, FL on Tuesday, Sept 17, 2013 from the hours of 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Entombment will follow.Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements. 941-639-1171
