Thomas Lynn Steinman

Thomas Lynn Steinman passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 6, 2019 in Lacey, Washington. He was born August 11, 1941 to Loren and Virginia (Collins) Steinman in Commerce, Texas. He spent his childhood in Wyoming; graduated from Seminole High School (1960) in Seminole, Oklahoma; and was a Shelton resident for 46 years. Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963 in the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. He married Sheila Ann Kreifels on November 27, 1965 in Shelton. Tom worked at Simpson Timber Company in Shelton for 30 years. He loved history, traveling, and working in his garden. Tom is survived by his wife, Sheila Steinman of Shelton; daughter, Evelyn Perez of Alpharetta, Georgia; two grandsons; and brother, Charles Steinman of Oklahoma. Private family gathering in lieu of a service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
