Robert “Bob” was born 9/23/1943 in Tacoma, WA and passed away 8/23/2006 in Tacoma, WA. Bob served in the USMC and worked 38 years at Concrete Tech. Corp as a lead-foreman. Bob was a man of few words and a big heart who was ready to help anybody that was willing to help themselves. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sue; 3 beautiful children, Tonia Robinson, Ken (Ingrid) Miller, Corina (Thom) Caudle; 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Vance, Damon, Ashman, Kody, Alexis, Makaila, Jared, Cayden, Braeden, and Brenden; mother, Hellen Miller; 3 brothers, Bill (Lynn), Ray (Glenna), Ron (Barb) Miller; 4 sisters, Kathy (Ed) Christianson, Betty (Tom) Butcher, Janet (Bob) Zeigler, Shirley (Jessie) Brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Louie Miller. Service to be held 11:30 AM Friday, September 8, 2006 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA 98042. The family would like to thank nurse Carol with Franciscan Hospice, and a special thanks to the Burgmeier family for their love and support to Bob during his long battle with colon cancer. He is now in a better place, out of sickness and pain. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
