Roger Davis, 40, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away, Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was born May 19, 1974, in Collingswood, New Jersey. Roger was a former member of the National Guard Reserve, as well as, formerly employed with the Floor Layers Union Local 29 in South Jersey. Locally, he became employed by Howard's Pool World of Lake Suzy, Fla., where he enjoyed, thrived and loved not only his job, but his co-workers and customers. Roger enjoyed Frisbee Golf, Kayaking, Boating, and shooting Pool with friends and family. Camping and traveling where also among his favorite activities. He is survived by his life partner of 11 years, JoAnn Wagner Abrahamsen; mother, Charlotte Davis, brother, John Davis, sisters, Sue Rosenkranz, Wendy Cesario, and Diane Hanna, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John Davis and brother, Bob Hanna. Friends and family are welcome to join a Memorial Service on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, Fl., 33950, with a Remembrance by Pastor Barrett Hardin at 7:30 p.m. Please visit www.charlottememorial.comto leave Roger's loved ones your thoughts, memories and condolences on their online guestbook.
