Teddy Walter Lynn, 65, died on Wednesday February 4, 2015 in Port Charlotte. Teddy Was born September 4, 1949 in Naples Florida to Andrew and Millie Lynn. Teddy enlisted in the US Navy and served from December 1967 to 1971. After being honorably discharged from the US Navy he went on to attend the University of Florida. He received a Bachelors degree in Agricultural science. Teddy went on to teach at Lemon Bay High School and eventually Charlotte High School where he taught for 28 years. Teddy is survived by his wife Shirley Lynn, his sons Robert (Tammy) Stowers, Daniel (Chelsea) Lynn, and Mark (Michelle) Lynn ; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother Billy, sister Marjorie Pendelton, sister-in-law Trudy, and brother-in-law Joseph Schirmer, and many more. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Millie Lynn, sister Millie Schirmer, and brother-in-law Larry Pendelton. Visitation will be held Saturday February 7th from 6-8pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetary and cremetary in Punta Gorda. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 8th at 3 pm with a viewing prior at 1 pm. There will be a reception following the burial.
