Margorie F. Howard, 80, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday July 20, 2011 at her home in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Howard was born January 16, 1931 in Louisville, KY to John and Geneva (nee Fetters) Howard, and moved to this area 10 years ago from Berlin, Maryland. She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith. Margorie is survived by her loving husband, Charles R. Howard of Port Charlotte and son, Thomas R. (Caroline) Howard of Pasadena, Maryland; Daughters Sheri H. (Donald) Meissner of Arcadia, FL, and Mary J. (Scott) Franks of Essex, Iowa; brothers, John Oliver of Pasadena MD; Cletus Oliver of Columbus OH; Lloyd Oliver of Columbus, OH, and Eddie Oliver of Columbus, OH; sisters; Violet Cavey of Crofton, MD and Betty Stapleton of Alabama; 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Mae Hamilton and Grandson, Torrie E. Hamilton. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Sonshine Baptist Church, 23105 Veterans Boulevard in Port Charlotte with Pastor William K. Bales officiating.
