Ramona J. Liebsch

Ramona Liebsch, 84 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away peacefully on March 14, 2016 at home, with her loving daughters by her side. Born in Chicago, IL on March 28, 1931 to the late Eric and Anna (Tieman) Redman, Ramona was a proud graduate of Lakeview High School, a school she continued to support throughout her life. She also attended Bryant & Stratton Business College and later relocated to Florida from Cary, NC in 1988. Ramona was upbeat, never complained and derived joy from making others happy. She loved to write cards and letters and was fondly known at Freedom Bible Church as the "gum lady" who freely gave "love hugs", just to brighten someone else's day. With Ramona around, no one was a stranger. Others will always remember her giving spirit and unconditional love. Ramona is survived by her family, which she cherished so dearly; daughters, Jill (Scott) Keith of Port Charlotte, FL, Judi (Mark) Erickson of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as grandma Clunk.
