Elmer Ray Woolard

Elmer Ray Woolard Jr July 5, 1955 - July 9, 2018 "Ray" as we called him was gone too soon! He left us July 9th 2018, going home to be with the Lord. I'm sure he was met at those heavenly gates by his Mother, Sister, Father and my Father who finally got to meet my wonderful man. (not to mention all his chihuahuas) Cintra, Moch, Taco, and Ori. Ray was such a gentleman and always put me before himself as I did him. My husband Ray was the love of my life, we had 22 wonderful years together. He gave of himself whenever there was a need. I loved him so much and he loved me more than I could ever dream. he showed me that I was loved. There can never be another for me, he was my soulmate. No one can come close to the man he was. He was so precious to me. Ray was father to Michael Woolard and a terrific Grandfather to Kiana, Caiden, Tayla, and Mariah. He would have loved to spend more time with them. Ray was the greatest Stepfather to Anthony (Eden) and Dina Hooker, and the most wonderful Grandfather to Anthony, Aniya, Sinseer, and Ahnahsti. He was always making them smile and laugh and took such great care of them. Hew as such a joker, as everyone knows. He was employed at Chief Leschi Schools for so long he became a permanent fixture. He is survived by numerous family and friends. Ray had discussed over the last year, when his health started to decline, that he did not want any services, viewing, or reception. Just short and sweet. Simple, he said. He will be greatly missed! No more pain, breathing easy.
