Pauline Katherine Anderson
September 29th, 1923 - September 1st, 2020
Pauline Katherine Anderson Pauline passed away peacefully in her sleep on the evening of Sept 1, 2020. She was 96 years old and just shy of her 97 th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Anderson and son Dr. Zeyn Seabron. Pauline is survived by her three grandchildren Ashanti, Zaria and Asha in Michigan. Her daughters Dji (husband Paul) and Asia (husband Kavin). And her brother George (wife Maria) in Denver with many nieces and nephews. Pauline graduated college in Michigan with a music degree and after moving to Seattle in the 1960’s went on to an elementary school teaching career in the Renton school district. She eventually took early retirement and enjoyed the local music scene with her husband jazz pianist Lee Anderson. Pauline lived in her house in May Valley until she was 92 years old. She walked her three dogs daily and loved her 2 cats (Oscar and Felix- the odd couple). She was interested in the world's different cultures, alternative health information and tried her hand at a little gardening. She had especially loved teaching kindergarten and was always delighted and amazed, when shopping in local stores, to be remembered and greeted by her all grown up past students. Our family thanks Heartwood Extended Care and the CHI Franciscan Hospice group for making Pauline’s daily life with advanced Dementia enjoyable and safe.
