Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory
Brian Leroy Seaman
April 8th, 1937 - August 15th, 2022
Brian was born in Goodrich, MI to Charles Hamilton and Marion Emma (Miller) Seaman of Lapeer, MI. Brian married Katherine Clark on October 31, 1959. He was a long-time resident of Oxford, MI and recently moved to Punta Gorda, FL. He grew up in Lapeer, MI where he played for the Lapeer Panthers on the basketball and tennis teams. Brian also delivered the Detroit News while he was in high school. He attended General Motors Institute (now Ketterington University) in a co-op program. After he graduated, he was hired at Pontiac Motors as an engineer in the die design plant. He retired in 1995 after working 36 years. He always wanted to be retired as many years as he had worked. He missed that goal by nine years. Brian loved to fish and hunt, water ski, table tennis, scuba diving, tennis and archery. In later years, he liked to read and watch old-time westerns. Brian is survived by his wife and four children; Hope (Douglas) Stankey, Philecia (Keith) Tabor, Kirk (Lynn) Seaman and Daniel (Kelly) Seaman. He had ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brian was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Lawrence and a great-grandchild, Shalom. If you would like to share your favorite memory and/or photo of Brian, the family would also enjoy seeing them. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
