Phyllis Sena
November 20th, 1925 - March 8th, 2017
Phyllis Sena, 91 years young, passed away Wednesday, March 8th at her home at Lake Tapps+ Bonney Lake, surrounded by her family. She was born in Howell, KS on November 20, 1925 MR. to Pete and Mary Jimenez. Phyllis lived for her family. She was the foundation of a family that stretched over 4 generations. She brought her family together around the table and in the kitchen. She was an incredible cook who valued the moments her family sat down to enjoy a heartwarming meal, the many family fiestas and passing on her legendary recipes to the next generation. Phyllis shared her life with Nick Sena for 65 years before his passing in 2006. Phyllis is survived by her four children; Carol Erfle (Alan) Annette Rogerson (Tim), Nick (Chong), Charles (Becky), and As well as, nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Rosie Gallegos; brother, Robert Jimenez. We will celebrate the life of Phyllis starting with a Rosary service on Sunday, March 12th at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, WA at 6PM. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, March 14th at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11AM. Mass will be followed by a gathering in the church hall before traveling to her final resting place at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, WA at 2PM. Preparations will be done by Klontz Funeral Home in Auburn, WA. The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Cedar Ridge Retirement Home for their care in making her final months so peaceful.
