Bonnie Lee Buckley
Bonnie Lee Buckley, 68, died unexpectedly on September 14, 2014 in the early morning at her home in Yelm, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” A. Buckley; her mother, Betty Coon-Beckman; her step-father, Wayne L. Beckman; her father, Edward M. Barnum Jr.; her brother, Edward “Ted” M. Barnum III; her sister, Katherine S. Barnum; her step-brother, John Beckman; and her nephew, Jeremiah Barnum. Bonnie was survived by her daughter, Dawn (Michael) Meeker; brothers, Mark (Ada) Barnum, Robin (Debbie) Barnum; grandchildren, Jesika, Phillip and Michael; and many nephews and nieces. Bonnie was born in Denver, Colorado, graduated from Lincoln High School in Denver, and married Richard “Dick” Buckley in Broomfield, Colorado. She spent the next 35 years living in Broomfield. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. In her early years, she was an active Girl Scout leader. Bonnie loved spending time with family, collecting angels, decorating and baking. In 2006, she moved to Yelm to be closer to family. Bonnie’s battle with several debilitating diseases did not stop her in any way. She was a fighter to the end. She was a lady that you could only smile about and love her and her spunkiness. Her heart was full of love and her soul was ready for a new journey. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you so much Amma!! Please leave memories of Bonnie or condolences for the family in the Guestbook below.
