Kevin Gregory Dixon

Kevin, 45, passed away at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, on July 26, 2014, following complications from longstanding health problems. Kevin was born November 21, 1968, to Robert W. and Ingeborg Dixon in Landstuhl, Germany. He grew up in Olympia’s Tanglewilde area, attended Timberline High School, and later received his GED. He worked in various restaurants in the area and had worked at other jobs. He was disabled since 2001. Kevin had lived in the Capital House Apartments and the Firs Apartments. Kevin enjoyed building things made of wood, gunsmithing, and landscaping. He was kind hearted, loved animals, enjoyed working with electronics, and loved to visit the ocean and mountains. His dream was to visit Germany one more time… Surviving are his mother, Ingeborg Dixon of Olympia; brother, Robert W. Dixon II, and his children, Annika, Will, Tyler Dixon; half-sister, Karen Smith of Henderson, Nevada; and his grandmother, Betty Dixon of Dupo, Illinois. His father, Robert W. Dixon, and paternal grandparents, Franklin P. Dixon and Shirley Carner, preceded him in death. His mother will miss his two daily calls: “Good morning Sunshine…I love you!” and “Good evening Moonshine…Sleep well…I love you.” The family suggests memorial donations may be made to BHR (Behavior Health Resources) and Providence St. Peter Hospital E.R.
