Gwynne Lorraine Bailey
May 1st, 1940 - December 14th, 2015
Mrs. Gywnne "Gwynnie" "Mama" Bailey (nee Kennedy) born May 1st, 1940, died peacefully at home on December 13th, 2015 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 75. Gwynne is survived by her husband, Jim and his children Kimberly (Matt), Kevin (Jenna) and Gwynne's children, Vernon (Ingrid), Roni-Lee (Jeff), Dini (Walter), Lesley (Annika), Colby (Merle), and Thane. Siblings, Marilynn and Shirley. Grandchildren, Aarron, Kelsey, Ashley, Tanner, Colin, Kira-Lee, Candice, Kayla, Kennedy, Chance, Akira, Nathan, Morgan, Jordon, and many great-grandchildren. Gwynne would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, an offer you cant refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, antiquing, baking cinnamon buns and lemonade porch tea to her hearts content. Country music, laughter, love, and good coffee are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her family to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated. We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her contagious laughter, her warmth, her energy, her love for Jim and the family, her kitties, and many of whom over time also became friends. Gwynne made a lasting impression in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together the beautiful life of wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. A celebration of life will be scheduled for the New Year in Canada. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gwynne's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of choice. Gwynne was a lover of animals and especially kitties so donations to any local animal shelter would be a greatly appreciated. Condolences can be sent to [email protected].
