Sharon "Janie" Norris

Sharon “Janie” Norris, 65, of Englewood, FL passed away on November 24, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1957 in Columbus, OH. Sharon graduated from Gove City High School. She retired from Law Enforcement working for Pickerington Police Department in OH. After retiring, she worked for Groveport School District driving bus, which she enjoyed post retirement. She is survived by her two sons, Jeremy (Sheryl) Himes and Daniel (Kat) Linek; daughter, Stacie Linek; bonus daughter, Brittany Himes; twin sister Karen Wolfe; brothers, Mike (Pam) Castle, Mark (Lan) Castle, Terry Hatfield, Jim Hatfield, Michael (Tonya) Hatfield; her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews; special friend Karen; and a host of other friends and extended family. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Everett (Sarah) Castle; mother, Mary Wemlinger; and beloved son Michael Dean Linek. A Memorial Service will be held at Venice Church of the Nazarene on December 12, 2022 at 2pm. A Celebration of Life to be held in Ohio after the first of the year. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is in charge of arrangements.
