David Anderson, age 56 of North Port, FL, tragically passed away July 8th, 2023. He passed peacefully after a brief battle with illness. David was born in Topeka, Kansas to his parents Sharon and Thomas. He grew up with siblings Nicole and Darrin. When he was young, he was a skilled skier and passionate about many sports. With age, he thrived in his role as a father and a coach. David met his wife, Kathryn, when they were young adults. They fell deeply in love and in time started a family, raising their son, Taylor. They had 33 years of marriage. He loved his family wholeheartedly and was a dependable father. In addition to his partner Kathryn Anderson, son Taylor Anderson, David is survived by his mother Sharon Anderson and father Thomas Anderson, sister Nicole Carruba and brother Darrin Anderson as well as his in laws James & Sharon Malin, brother in law Mike Malin, as they loved him as part of their family. The funeral service will be held at Farley Funeral Home in North Port, FL on July 31st, 2023 from 1pm to 4pm. Any donations made in his honor should be directed to Tidewell Hospice.
