April Leshayla Sloan-O'Quinn

April Leshayla Sloan-O'Quinn, age 27, of Duffield, VA, left this world on Saturday, October 7, 2016, in exchange to be in peace and entered into paradise until Jesus comes to get us all. April was saved and baptized in Jesus name at an early age and was of the Apostolic faith. She was a free spirit who enjoyed life, and especially loved listening to music and spending time with her children, family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who know and love her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reba Sloan, Virginia Hood Hobbs and Buster Hood. She is survived by her beloved husband, Danny O'Quinn; precious children, Jayden Green, Summer (Belle) Green and Braylon Sloan; mother, Tammy Page (Jason); father, Keith Sloan; grandparents, Claude Sloan, Charlie Hobbs and Danny and Sharon Page; great-grandmother, Ruby Page; brother, Michael Sloan (Ariel); sister, Brittney Blevins (Seth); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a never ending list of special friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 pm with Brother Donald Madden, Evangalist T.J.Hood and Evangalist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Those who wish to attend are asked to dress casually. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Go Fund Me Account in April's honor or may be made directly to the family.
