August 23rd, 1984 - June 16th, 2016
Joshua Bo Pearce 31, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Josh was a loving father and uncle. He especially enjoyed working on cars and cooking. Josh had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tommy and Sharon Hood; maternal great grandmother, Della Hood; paternal grandmother, Catherine Pearce. He is survived by his parents George and Vicky Pearce; daughter, Jaden Keller; sister, Crystal Buchanan and husband Shanon; nieces, Schuyler and Rhylie; Lahyklin, and Mae'leigh; uncle, Ronnie Hood and wife Traci; aunt, Sheri Edmunds and husband Tony; special cousin, Tanner Hood; along with several other cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2016 at The Original Red Hill Memorial Church, Duffield, VA from 6pm to 7pm. A celebration of life service will follow with Evangelists Garry Hood and George Pearce officiating. Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Pearce family.
