Judith Ann "Judy" Dooley Helfrich

Judith Ann “Judy” Dooley Helfrich, 69, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. The wife of Bruce Helfrich, Judy was born May 21, 1954, to the late John and June Anderson Dooley in Mattoon, Illinois. In addition to her loving husband, Bruce Helfrich of Versailles, Judy is survived by her children, Christa Benson of Benton, Seth Ryan Helfrich of North Carolina, and Matt Helfrich of Indiana; her siblings, James Dooley, Janet Ronchetti, Jeff Dooley, and Jay Dooley, all of Illinois; and her grandchildren, Christian Helfrich, Lucy Helfrich, June Helfrich, Lilia Benson, Ellery Benson, Abigail Benson, and Josiah Benson. In addition to her parents, John and June Anderson Dooley, Judy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chloe Helfrich. There will be a Public Visitation held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with a Private Family Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org or to Shriners Hospitals for Children at donate.lovetotherescue.org.
