August 15th, 1922 - February 5th, 2018
Charles John “Chuck” Hall passed away on February 5, 2018, in Greenwood Village, Colorado at the age of 95. Chuck is survived by his wife, Laurie Hall of Denver Colorado; children, Jane Haynes (Ron) of Arlington Texas, Susan Thiry (Pat) of Centennial Colorado and Scott Hall (Beth) of Amesbury Massachusetts as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Hall. Chuck was born on August 15, 1922, in Anoka, Minnesota to Ozro and Ruth Hall. He served in World War II as a 1stLieutenant in the 14th Air Force. He was a fighter pilot in China. After his service, he returned home where he met and married Lorayne Gunnerud in 1947. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1949 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After moving to Rugby, North Dakota, the couple welcomed four children into their home. Chuck and his family also lived in Dallas Texas and Littleton Colorado where he worked in Sales positions. His children remember their father as a quiet, gentleman.
