Rev. Dunn C. Cochran, 92, of Sarasota, FL went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 29, 2016. Dunn was born November 16, 1923 in Conasanga, TN to Mabel Dunn and Walter H. Cochran and he was the oldest of 9 children. For the past 60 years, Rev. Dunn C. Cochran has been an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene pastoring throughout GA, WV, KY and came to FL in 1975 where he continued serving at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He leaves behind his wife, Kathryn of 69 years; daughters: Suzette (husband, Joe) Hembree of Sarasota, FL and Sabrena Smith of Bradenton, FL; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00-11:30 AM with Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, Thursday, September 1 at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 1 at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Pines of Sarasota Foundation, 1501 N. Orange Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236.
