Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Lexington - Nellie Brandenburg Wash, 93, died Friday, May 2 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Ms. Wash was born in Nonesuch, KY on February 21, 1921, to the late Stanley and Ethel Morgan Brandenburg. She was a retired employee of Shillito Department Store and attended Versailles Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jona (Cliff) Eddleman, of Versailles; her son, Vernon (Nan) Wash, of Lexington; her sister, Eugenia Holman; her granddaughter, Paige (Chris) Greene; her grandson-in-law, Daniel Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Trevor Greene, and Logan Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Paula Johnson and her brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Services were held on Monday, May 5 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Dr. Michael Cabell officiating. Burial followed at Rose Crest Cemetery. The family would like to thank Heritage Hall Nursing Home for their wonderful care and kindness.
