Ida Palmer, 91, of Lynnwood, Washington, passed away April 19, 2009. One of eight children, Ida was born June 30, 1917 in Robinson, North Dakota, to Fred and Martha Buchmiller Aichele.She grew up and attended schools in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. After her schooling she moved to Seattle, WA where she married Stanley Palmer. They had two daughters. Ida settled in Lynnwood, WA, where she worked 12 years for the Grocery Boys Bakery and retired after 19 years, at the age of 73, from the Bon Marche. She loved walking, gardening and traveling. Ida filled our hearts with love and laughter cooking her famous German Strudel dinners at family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all of us.Ida is survived by daughters, Pamela (Anthony) Force and Barbara (Richard) Minugh; sister, Dorothy (Andy) Kabanuk; nine grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
