Virginia E. Endriss
July 30th, 1926 - February 23rd, 2016
Virginia Elsie Endriss, 89, of Venice, FL, died on February 23, 2016. She was born in New Haven, CT to Arthur William and Florence Emma (Chard) Endriss. She graduated from Norfolk Art School of Yale University in 1947 and from TuftsUniversity in 1952. She studied at TrinityCollege in Hartford, CT and privately studied with Frederick Fichester Sexton and Clarence A. Brodeur. She lived in CT, CA, and FL and was an artist who taught private and public school art. Virginia also worked for the New England Gas Co. and was involved in civil service in the state of Connecticut. Survivors include her cousins, Sandy Salzman and Phyllis ""Peggy"" Riviere. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 10AM at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Venice, FL. Burial will take place in CT. Memorial donations may be made to the SeniorFriendshipCenter or to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
