Her life's journey began on November 20, 1916 when she was born in Okmulgee, OK to Joyce (Lunsford) and Millard Wyatt. Nina was active in her church and community. She volunteered for many years as a ""Decisions to Win"" mentor to at-risk high school students. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Chauncy Howard. Survivors include her children Patricia Weber (Bud), and Vicky Hoefman of Venice, and William Howard (Barbara) of Tampa, seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her ""special earth angel"" Michelle Fust. A celebration of her life will be held at 3PM with visitation preceding it at 2PM on February 21, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church, 400 Field Avenue East, Venice. A private graveside service will be held on Monday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations may be made to ""Decisions to Win"", 400 South Tamiami Trail, Venice.
