Barbara (Lender) Goodwinspalding, age 79, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 3, 2016. She was born on September 10, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Harry & Helen (Arbiter) Lender. Barbara graduated from Birmingham High School in Charnier, Michigan. She owned and operated a kennel in Wixom, Michigan for 30 years and was also a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Venice. Barbara is survived by her husband, Howard; children, Dennis (Barb) Goodwin, Kevin (Renee) Goodwin; daughters, Rev. Dawn Donato, Lynn (Greg) Bruce, Darrell (Leean) and Scott (Deanne). She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Keith. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church in Venice. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
