Obituary Martha Lester Smither, 93, of Lexington, Kentucky, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was born in Sullivan, Indiana and attended Asbury College and Indiana State University. She was married to Albert A. Smither from 1939 until his passing in 2005. Martha is survived by her son, John W. (Donna) Smither; daughter-in-law, Susie Smither; six grandchildren, Marc (Rosanne) Smither, Tamara Smither, Amy (Tim) Griffie, Tom (Beth) Smither Jr., Jeff (Shastine) Woosley, Greg (Adrienne) Woosley; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and son, Tom. Martha was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, The Christian Social Involvement Circle, and a board member of Ashland Terrance for many years. Funeral Information A Graveside Service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 25, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
