William R. Hallo
May 2nd, 1926 - January 20th, 2016
William R. Hallo entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2016. Born on May 2, 1926 he was a veteran in the United States Navy and served in World War II. Bill and Anita lived in Windsor Locks, CT for 50 years before moving to North Port, Florida in 1998. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anita (Belanger) Hallo and his two children, Kenneth Hallo and his wife Sunny of South Carolina, Joanne (Hallo) Albano and her husband David of Connecticut; two brothers and a sister. William also leaves behind four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his son, William Hallo Jr. The family would like to thank everyone at Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans' Home for the excellent care of Bill while he was there. A military service will be private for the family at the Sarasota National Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
