Robert Bennett Neal Sr.
August 19th, 1943 - May 10th, 2016
Lexington, KY Robert Bennett Neal, Sr., 72, peacefully passed away at his home in Lexington, Kentucky on May 10, 2016. He was born August 19, 1943 in Buffalo, New York. Bob was the beloved husband and best friend to his loving wife Judy of 50 years, whom he leaves behind. A proud Navy veteran he developed strong beliefs and integrity that guided him throughout his life. He was always the center of attention as family and friends were drawn to his magnetic and charismatic personality. He loved to inspire thought and challenge ideas in the people around him. He had an insatiable love for politics, UK Basketball and his family. Bob lived his life by his motto "I DID IT MY WAY" and inspired others to do the same. Bob was a loving and devoted father and is survived by his three sons, Robert (Shari) Bennett Neal, Jr., Michael (Beverly) Joseph Neal and Shawn (Stephanie) Patrick Neal, Sr. and seven grandchildren, Amber, Mathew, Lauren, Nick, Patrick, Bennett and Collin. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 4-7pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 with a memorial service to follow to honor Bob's life at 7:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
