Armando E. Liegghio, age 89, of Venice, Florida, passed away on July 10, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 7, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Detroit as a superintendent for 33 years. Armando was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Armando is survived by his four children; Thomas (Peggy) Liegghio of Warren, Michigan, Mark (Annie) Liegghio of Sarasota, Florida, Elisa (Daniel) Dacey of Venice, Natalie (Jeffrey) Worrall of Venice; a sister, Lena Zaguroli of Bloomfield, Michigan, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa, his son, Anthony; a brother, Faust, a sister, Antoinette and his parents, Elisa and Domenico. A visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 5:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
