Sandra Mulcahy
April 25th, 1953 - December 18th, 2012
Sandra (Sandy) Mulcahy passed away the evening of Tuesday, December 18 with her children and husband at her side in their home where they shared countless BBQs, family parties and Christmas mornings. Sandy was born April 25, 1953 in Seattle and was the youngest of the four Hottinger sisters (and honorary sister PiFi). She grew up in the house her dad built attending Our Lady of the Lake across the street then following in her sisters footsteps to Blanchet High School where she met her prom date and husband of 37 years, Richard. Rich and Sandy moved to Everett to raise their two kids who attended grade school at St. Mary Magdalen. In her dedication and commitment to her kids and parish she was front row at every school event, book fair and sporting event. From Irish dance, to south Everett Little League games and on to Friday night-lights at Jackson High School, she poured her heart and energy into supporting those she loved. There was nothing she enjoyed more than planning a family event including themed parties and vacations every summer - along with holidays that started with Christmas shopping in October and just the right menu for every occasion. She will forever watch over every pinochle game on a late night Thanksgiving evening and smile over every school pageant, sor game and school auction with her family. She is survived by her husband Rich, daughter Tara, son Richy (and his fiance Catherine); sisters Teri, Karen, and Sue; and nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews that always put a smile on her face. She touched everyone in her path with grace and love that continued through her last day.
