Obituary Ralph Murphy, 89, of Frankfort, Kentucky and husband of Elwanda Murphy, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013. He was born to the late Henry and Bethel Oliver Murphy in Carroll County, KY on February 16, 1924. Ralph was a WWII veteran who served in the US Navy. He was also a retired employee for the State of Kentucky, a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky and a member of the VFW Post 4075. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his son, J. Scott Murphy of Lexington, Kentucky and his sister, Alean McDonald of Frankfort, Kentucky. Funeral Information Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Reverend James Heard and Reverend Earl Hisle will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Paul Grider, James Grider, Bobby Grider, Billy Grider, Danny Ray Grider, and Pete McDonald.
