Robert ""Bob"" L. Norman, 83, of Venice, FL passed away March 5, 2015. Bob was born September 6, 1931 in Alamo, IN to Lillie (Herron) and Frederick A. Norman. Bob was a member of the Sarasota Christian Church; a 50+ year member of the Masonic Lodge #144 in Alamo, IN; a member of the Scottish rite in Tampa and a member of the Egypt temple. Bob was the owner of Norman's Cabinet Shop in Venice for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Norman. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia; sons: Dan Norman of Venice, Ed (Tammie) Norman of Covington, WA; 4 grandchildren: Sarah, Holly, Emily, Andrew. Visitation will be from 5-6 PM with Funeral Service at 6 PM, Thursday, March 12 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Interment will be at 10 AM, Friday, March 13 at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Building Fund c/o Sarasota Christian Church, 2923 Ashton Rd, Sarasota, FL 34231.
